The project focuses on creating a design for a condo that meets the requirements and interests of the Martin's, an older couple plan on aging in place meaning they are planning on staying in the condo until they are needed to be moved into a senior center or elderly are facility. So we had to make a design that would allow for the Martin's to be able to have wheelchair accessibility and have reinforced walls so that when the couple needs to install handrails for better balance they will be able to without going through the process of adding reinforcement to the walls. We were also required to design a custom light fixture for the Martin's which you can see in the Dining Room perspective below and to the right of this description.
