A few classmates and myself were reached out to by our professor as the NDSU library staff were looking to redesign their makerspace, a space where students are able to meet and create whether it be for education or for personal matters. We were asked to give a full redesign based off of a budget including new furniture, space layouts, additions such as windows and walls, and acoustical and lighting design. The Maker Space redesign will be going into construction the spring semester of 2022.
